The ACT Vegetarian Society Committee
now meets for its Committee meeting at the Ethiopia Downunder
restaurant at the Pearce shops.
This is the second Tuesday of each month
from February until November (inclusive).
The evening begins
with dinner at 7pm, meeting commences 8pm and finishes by 9pm.
All members are very welcome to attend the meal, meeting or
both.
An RSVP is not required.

PotLuck Dinner: Saturday June 21,

Jyoti and Dieter's home, 20 McGill St, Evatt.
They have a battle-axe block so please park on the left hand side of
the driveway or
out on the road.
Each person is asked to bring a dish to share, letting
the RSVP person know in advance what that is, so we don't
have 10 starters, no mains and 1 dessert!
Please include a list of ingredients with your dish.
Enjoy a warm mid-winter party.
An alcohol free event.

Do you have a
suggestion for a Vegevent? How about a talk, a walk, a
dinner or lunch? Know a good eating spot (doesn't need to
be a Vegetarian restaurant - just one that caters for
vegetarians). We're open to suggestions - send Mike an email.
Also - these events are not
exclusively for members or for vegetarians only. If you
would like to find out more about vegetarianism or just
enjoy the event come long and say g'day.

Share with vegetarian professional couple - Downer
We're seeking a vegetarian, F, 21+ for a large, light-filled room in
our comfortable furnished home.
The house has a comfortable living area and recently updated bathroom.
The kichen is a real beauty. If you love cooking as much as we do,
it's fantastic.
There's a small vegetable garden and a deck out the front, facing a
quiet, tree lined street. We also have a very cute indoors cat.
We are about as close as you can get to the Dickson shops, bus stops
and the Dickson swimming pool while living in Downer.
Your room has built-in cupboards and we have a spare double bed if
you need it.
Your share will be $180 a week – this includes a contribution
to electricity, gas, water and broadband.
